Diffrence between DDR2 and DDR3 RAM

There are no more diffrence between DDR2 and DDR3.There are slightly Diffrence between Both. Let us know about it.

DDR2 means Double Data Rate version 2.While DDR3 means  Double Data Rate version 3.If we talk about cost in market DDR3 is cheaper than DDR2.Performance wise DDR3 is Ahead because its clock speed Start from 800Mhz to 1600 Mhz. And DDR2 400 Mhz to 800 Mhz.  Operation voltage of DDR3 is 1.5 v and DDR2 voltage is 1.8v.DDR3 Ram give the option of reset while DDR2 Not.  Max Transfer Rate in DDR2 is 3,200 to 8,533 MB/s while DDR3 is 6,400 to 17,067 MB/s
